Eliot Sinclair is a Survey, Engineering and Planning Consultancy with special expertise in Land Development, Planning and Resource Management, Civil and Structural Engineering, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering, Hydrographic Surveying, Cadastral Surveying, GPS Applications and Survey Control.

The company was formed in 1985, taking over the original firm first established by Mr Eliot Sinclair in 1932. We operate primarily in the South Island of New Zealand, but also provide a wide range of services throughout the rest of New Zealand, and specialist solutions into the Asia/Pacific region.

In the last 76 years we have worked across New Zealand and as far abroad as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Fiji and Thailand. Our people come from many corners of the globe bringing together skills and experience in many disciplines.

The expertise of our personnel includes investigations and conceptual planning; preparation of Resource Consents; engineering design; preparation of contract documents; contract administration; setting out and field work for cadastral, hydrographic and GPS surveys; post-processing, final reporting and presentation of data.
