Planning Investigations
Many development projects require a preliminary assessment in terms of the City, District or Regional plans to determine whether the activity will require resource consent. In general terms, such assessments are 'planning' assessments.
A planning assessment will assist in determining what aspects of a specific proposal may require resource consent. Eliot Sinclair staff are experts in undertaking planning assessments on the feasibility of proposed projects. We can provide a clear understanding of any resource consents required or any significant resource management issues that may arise. A planning assessment may help to design and program on-site activity to reduce costs and time associated with obtaining specific resource consents.

Resource Consents

Plan Changes
In instances where a change to the district or regional plan provisions is required for an activity, a Private Plan Change may be required.
Eliot Sinclair have a depth of experience in drafting and managing the Private Plan Change process and undertakes this activity for a range of projects including:
